Everything’s fine – no problems here or “Oh well, tomorrow is another day”
It’s not “Grasping the Situation” and really understanding the current condition
Not facing reality which is a problem many companies face. Past success clouds our judgement about today’s issues. We get arrogant and overconfident and don’t want to face reality.
Everything becomes sub-optimized such that sum of the parts is less than the total.
